One guest mentioned that she didn’t know anyone upon arrival, but after a few hours of treasure hunting she had loads of new friends (and dance partners) for the party later on.~Steve Engel & Emma Ansarra Applying a Rootles® hunt to your wedding celebration fits nearly as well as your wedding bands. Our hunts have been used as activities at destination wedding sites, Bachelor or Bachelorette parties, Wedding showers and even for a couple getting to know the area of their honeymoon. The possibilities are truly endless. At a recent wedding, the participants gathered the morning before the ceremony, and were all assigned to teams. As they explored the area of the hunt, they were meeting others while solving the clues and enjoying the scenery. Instead of the bride and groom’s friends and families meeting for the first time at the ceremony or reception they all had the experience of the hunt to bring them together at the start of the festivities. How do we pick teams? That’s entirely up to your group. For a family reunion or wedding event, you may wish to design groups so that participants may meet new people or reconnect with old friends. Or you can just leave it to us, and we’ll designate teams when the Rootles representative arrives to start the hunt. Where will the hunt take place? Hunts can take place wherever you wish. Rootles® is developing standard hunts all around the Front Range of Colorado and we are available to visit your desired location, wherever it is, to design a hunt that will fit the back yard or the back forty. Remember, designing a hunt for a new location takes a bit of time, so be sure to contact us well in advance of your event. Let The Fun Begin with Rootles!
